Smart Lifting Hook

When the trigger touches the lifting point, the hook closes automatically and a sensor confirms engagement. The eMAX remote control records all activity, acting as a control centre for the full lifting operation.
Efficient Lifting Hook

Rechargeable Li-ion battery that charges in three hours: more than 3,000 cycles or 250 hours on standby on the NEO20 and NEO20S, and up to 5,000 cycles on the NEO50/60 and NEO100, whose Smart Nap mode extends standby up to 2 months.
Durable Lifting Hook

The motor releases slings and accessories remotely: 20–34 kg on the NEO20, 13–17 kg on the NEO50/60 and 100 kg on the NEO100. The electronic control adjusts the release limit, and the clutch protects the motor from overloads and impacts.
Built for Tough Conditions

Designed for extreme conditions — steel mills, ports, and extreme temperatures — and manufactured with high-quality materials. Features a 4:1 safety factor and fail-safe design: a suspended load cannot be dropped.
Benefits of NEO Lifting Hooks
Greater safety
- –In operations at height, the risk of fatal accidents is eliminated — the operator controls the load from a safe distance.
- –Reduction of injuries by eliminating the need to climb on and off the truck or manually handle the hook.
- –Risk of hand injuries eliminated — no need to touch slings or lifting accessories.
- –When handling toxic loads, operator contact is avoided thanks to the remote control.
Greater comfort and convenience
- –Remote engage and release via eMAX or eMINI — no physically demanding tasks required.
- –Improved working conditions, productivity and safety through more efficient load handling.
Efficiency and precision
- –Automated operation minimises risk of load damage and optimises resource usage.
- –NEO hooks adapt to a wide range of applications and load types.

Like all Elebia lifting products, the NEO hooks are compatible with our full range of remote controls — allowing simple, flexible, precise, and reliable fail-safe control.
Frequently Asked Questions about NEO Lifting Hooks
What is a lifting hook?
A lifting hook is a device used in lifting and rigging operations to securely attach and hoist loads. It typically consists of a metal hook that can be attached to a lifting mechanism such as a crane or hoist.
What is the load capacity of the NEO lifting hooks?
The NEO range covers multiple capacities depending on the model. Working load limits are 20 t (NEO20 and NEO20S), 50 t (NEO50), 60 t (NEO60) and 100 t (NEO100). Each model is designed for a maximum lifting point size, from 75 mm (NEO20S) up to 160 mm diameter (NEO100).
What advantages does the NEO lifting hook offer compared to conventional hooks?
NEO hooks offer remote control operation, automatic closing when the trigger touches the lifting point, optional load monitoring, and enhanced safety features including fail-safe design. They reduce manual labour and eliminate the need for operators to be near the load at any stage.
Is the NEO lifting hook easy to use?
Yes. The remote control operation allows simple and precise control of lifting and lowering operations, reducing the need for manual intervention and making it user-friendly for operators.
What safety measures are built into the NEO lifting hook?
NEO hooks incorporate automatic load monitoring, fail-safe design (a suspended load cannot be dropped), overload protection, and safety interlocks to prevent accidental release.
Can the NEO lifting hook be used in different environments and weather conditions?
Yes. The NEO range is engineered for industrial settings, outdoor applications, and varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures found in steel mills and foundries.
Looking for a different lifting solution?
The NEO range is designed for fixed-point and oversized lifting applications. If your operation uses a masterlink or sling, see the evo automatic crane hooks, which engage remotely with a magnetic system. If you only need remote release, see the R2.
